During my month-long trip during the summer of '99 I started writing little trip journals about my travels, then emailing them back to everyone. This was fairly well-received. In the early part of 2000, I branched into fictional accounts - based on my travels, my experiences, my imagination. Once again, I "forced" people to read them. Once again, I got a favorable response. So I kept at it. I started a series that I call "Stirrings". The only common thread is that they usually start out with something stirring, like, "He stirs...", "She stirred...", etc. Other than that they range all over the place (well, maybe not yet, but eventually). They have given me a another mechanism for being creative via a means that I had never explored before (and you all know how much I like to explore).
Now that I'm "on the web", I've decided to put all my "stirrings" - or ramblings as the case may be - online and, whenever a new one is finished, to just email the link to those I "force" to read. Please read them when you get a chance and any comments, good, bad, or indifferent, will be much appreciated. Enjoy!
